MELD Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing company.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work with other engineers and technicians to help develop our latest generation of MELD Machines. You will work to advance our capabilities, improve existing designs, and find innovative solutions to future challenges.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop new MELD Machines.
- Make improvements to existing machines and mechanical assemblies.
- Develop drawings and procedures necessary for the assembly of equipment.
- Assist controls engineers in machine testing and troubleshooting.
- Assist technical writers in development of machine documentation packages.
- Revisit existing equipment to repair or improve processes.
- Travel to customer sites to evaluate equipment or implement new solutions.
- Provide technical customer service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in industrial machine design.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills.
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
- Expertise in 3D CAD software. (SolidWorks a plus)
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
- Ability to travel if needed (Less than 10% of time)

As Chief Financial Officer you will work with the CEO and leadership team to lead the development and execution of company business strategies.
We seek a candidate that possesses a proven track record with extensive experience in financial leadership within a manufacturing company. The CFO will be a senior member of the executive management team, reporting to the CEO, and be responsible for all accounting, treasury, human resource, risk management, export compliance and information technology functions.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Drive the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

Desired:

MELD Manufacturing is looking for a self-motivated and versatile machine assembly technician. In this position the assembly technician will assemble high quality machine sub-components, complete MELD machines, manage a small range of necessary inventory, assist with machine maintenance and repair, and lead shop housekeeping efforts.
Specific activities include:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing request for and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Read and interpret engineering prints/specifications, electrical schematics, manufacturing manuals, and/or verbal/written instructions to determine necessary assembly of machine.
- Plan assembly procedures and methods to assure efficient and timely progress. May transport specified parts from storage manually or by using various mechanical lifting aids e.g. forklift trucks, etc.
- Assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems units where precision, extreme care, skilled workmanship, and accuracy are required to meet strict inspection, testing and operating specifications.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Perform assigned task without damaging customer facing finishes.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls utilizing multimeter, amp meter, and/or oscilloscope.
- Use a variety of precision measuring and gauging instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, etc., to inspect and verify conformance of parts to specifications/tolerances.
- Strictly follows all safety requirements for hand and power tool operation, the assembly of parts, forklift and hoist operation, and housekeeping.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions and assisting with repairs.
- Lead 5s initiative in shop by working in a clean and organized manner; completing assigned 5s improvement projects
Required:

- High School or equivalent technical degree preferred.

MELD Manufacturing is looking for a self-motivated and versatile machinist. In this position the machinist will produce high quality machine components, MELD tooling, and finished machine parts from MELD printed parts in a variety of steels, aluminums, and alloy materials such as titanium and tungsten.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate CNC controlled machines including lathe and mill
- Program CNC machines using CAM package
- Select tooling, fixturing, and machine parameters to produce quality parts in a wide variety of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness of work and shop areas
- Provide feedback to the engineering team on part design and manufacturing methods

Our team is growing, and MELD Manufacturing is looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, quality minded, safety-focused CNC operator. In this position you will setup, program and operate our CNC controlled 3D metal printers. In our team driven environment, you will provide feedback and suggestions for improved processing of material and machine controls. Responsibilities
- Setup and operate CNC controlled MELD machines
- Program and edit basic G code for MELD machines
- Perform basic maintenance on MELD machines
- Prepare raw materials to be used in the MELD process
- Work with engineering and technical team members to improve or develop processes and materials
